New Orleans Voodoo & Rootwork Retreat Day

About the event:

Come and spend a magical day with our very own Creole Voodoo Mama in one of the most magical spaces in Lancashire, Mama’s Magic & Mojo Shop. We’ll spend the day learning all about New Orleans Voodoo from the history, to the New Orleans Voodoo practice, the Creole culture and the food. We’ll even be having Creole Food on the day! We’ll be talking about everything New Orleans Voodoo and making some bits on the day to take home too. You’ll learn about the important people in New Orleans Voodoo including Marie Laveau and the Loa as well the history and practice of Rootwork and how it sits within New Orleans Voodoo. This is an absolutely jam packed day and well worth it if you have an interest in New Orleans Voodoo and the Creole culture.

⭐️ Learn about Tricks, Tracks & Other Spells

⭐️  Learn about the use of the Psalms & Holy Water

Background:

Sally (aka Mama Sal) is a British folk witch, rootworker and New Orleans Voodoo Mama based in Lancashire with Creole heritage, just around the corner from the famous Pendle Hill which was the site of the Lancashire Witch Trials. She is a bare foot in the grass, foraging, natural living, homesteading, nature loving kinda gal, born and raised as a British folk witch (Grandmother and Mother) and Creole rootworker (Grandfather) 47 years ago and has had the honour and pleasure of writing for, being interviewed for or working with some amazing companies, brands and media over the years such as The BBC, The Daily Mail, Fox News, USA Today, Reuters, The Walt Disney Corporation, Spirit & Destiny Magazine, Fate & Fortune Magazine and many, many more. Sally has been teaching all things magical since 1995 and has taught, created, spoken at and run over 750 workshops and courses.

Refunds:

We will however, offer you another place on another retreat and move your ticket if you need to cancel for whatever reason.
